Vaishali

Every journey begins with an inspiration. From an early age, I was captivated by the rich, colourful fabric and textiles that surrounded me, and under the watchful eye of my mother, who is also a designer I learned the art of working with these amazing materials and their tantalising textures. Following my passion, I worked as a Freelance Designer gaining valuable insights into the world of Fashion and honing the skills of designing, creating, and perfectly finishing each Haute-Couture garment.

I opened my own brand “Vz Perfection by Vaishali” designing and creating exquisite garments for women and men.

Growing up in India provided me with an opportunity to work with some of the best craftsmen and women there is who specialise in creating intricate embellishments to stunning artwork to modern day technologies like Digital Printing on Fabrics. This has been a great source of inspiration for me and an avenue to bring in the element of my Indian heritage and culture into my Couture designs.

My philosophy centres around designing and producing the ultimate and essentially unique garment to capture your hopes and dreams within perfectly bespoke and entirely individual tailored creations.

All my designs are carefully and meticulously crafted, using time honoured and highly skilled craftsmanship.

Combining the dynamic passion for colour and imaginative flair, proficiency and meticulous attention to detail I strive to create that highly exciting, yet elegant bespoke garments of the finest quality that celebrates your individuality, reflecting your personality and dearest hopes and wishes.

Conveniently nestled in the beautiful county of Royal Berkshire I am perfectly placed to provide private consultations and fittings in my studio or in the comfort of your own home.

"My ultimate goal is to create a work of art that will not only adorn you but honour and celebrate the unique individual that you are. Every dress is meticulously crafted to perfectly complement and mould to your body, bringing out the natural beauty that lies within.

Every detail, every design is inspired by the stories, experiences and memories that make you who you are.

As I work on each piece, I am reminded that I am not simply cutting, stitching or threading, I am creating a physical manifestation of your story, a testament to your journey that will be cherished and remembered for years to come."

London Fashion Week

Showcased my debut SS20 “Dragonfly Collection” during London Fashion Week in 2019 and have launched my collection for 4 consecutive years with each collection carrying a unique theme. The collection featured huge Dragonflies embellished on a different garments and hand painted Dragonfly designs which were then digitally printed on to the fabric forming the lining of all the garments.

SS21 “Colours of Life” captured the various emotions we all went through during the tough pandemic period and the designs expressed in different colour palettes.

SS22 “Sustainability Collection” showed how any piece of garment we currently own can be transformed into something completely different giving it a brand-new look, style and keeping up with current trend. An exquisite piece from the collection was worn by TV Presenter Angelica Bell for the NTA Awards that year.

SS23 “Iridescence” an optical phenomenon where the surface appears to gradually change colours as the angle of view changes, also highlights the intense dichotomy where we see bold colours reflecting our desire to embrace life with full vigour combining with an array of neutral and natural tones that satisfies our need for harmony and tranquillity. “Iridescence” collection brings this to life celebrating different tones of Purple and Hot Pink

Azure with its deep, regal blue, resonates like the vast canvas of the sky. It is the tranquil backdrop upon which the Kingfisher flies with grace and vibrance. Together, they compose a visual masterpiece, where the tranquil azure of the heavens converges with the vivacious hues of the bird. In the harmonious symphony of colour and nature, Azure and the Kingfisher found their exquisite duet in Vaishali’s latest SS24 Collection “Azure Majesty”.

The Fashion Industry is the second largest polluter in the world. Fresh water and ocean pollution, accumulation of textile waste, and greenhouse emissions are just a handful of examples of how the industry impacts on our environment.

We collectively live in an era of the “throwaway” culture and of mass production, which is widely known to irreversibly damage our planet. Things must change. How we live must change, as the current model is not sustainable. All over the world, there is now a pressing need to render fashion more sustainable.

At Vz Perfection we adopt sustainability by sourcing eco-friendly and sustainable materials, and reducing waste through recycling and upcycling. Also primarily focus on creating timeless, high-quality pieces that can be worn for many years rather than following fast fashion trends. Adopting these practices, we try our best to contribute to a more sustainable future for both the planet and people.

Corporate Social Responsibility

As a business owner, I strongly believe that there is a moral responsibility to always give something back to the community.

Being a Surrey girl I am extremely proud to be associated with “The Lighthouse” in Woking which does a lot of projects for the local community. Also, am associated with other charities like Vivian Westwood’s “Cool Earth Foundation” supporting Sustainability and work closely with “Top Model Foundation” which supports sick and children in need.
